Belarus boosts softwood lumber shipments to EU countries
As Belarus decided to ban exports of unprocessed wood starting January 1st, 2016, logs deliveries to Europe have stopped. The move was a decision of the Belarusian president, Aleksandr Lukashenko which was meant to raise the volumes of wood processed inside the country. The trend has been upward since this decision and it seems that it's set to continue this year.
