European softwood lumber exports to the U.S. jump 64% in Jan.–July 2025
European softwood lumber exports to the United States rose sharply in the first seven months of 2025, reaching over 3.3 million cubic metres, up 64% compared with the same period in 2024. Germany remained the largest supplier, shipping 1.67 million m³ (+57%), followed by Sweden with 1.04 million m³ (+86%) and Latvia at 170,000 m³ (+125%).
