Sawmill production halved at Moelven Edanesågen as market weakens
Twenty-five employees at Edanesågen, located outside Arvika in Värmland, have been given redundancy notices, meaning that a quarter of the workforce may be laid off. The decision was made to address a challenging market situation, Moelven said in a press release. The biggest change will take place at the sawmill, where production will be halved and staffing will shift from two shifts to one shift starting in September.
