Interfor returns to profit in Q2 2025 as lumber shipments exceed production by 5%
Interfor Corporation reported a return to profitability in the second quarter of 2025, posting net earnings of $11.1 million after losses in previous quarters. The company’s strong lumber shipments of 978 million board feet exceeded production by 5%, resulting in a 37 million board feet reduction in inventory. Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter was $17.2 million on sales of $780.5 million.
