Norwegian timber prices retreat from record highs as market softens
After a period of continuous price increases, the timber market is becoming less favorable for Norwegian forest owners.. A report from AT Skog, one of Norway's largest forest owner cooperatives, reveals that prices have begun to fall from the record highs reached earlier this summer. For the first half of 2025, forest owners who sold timber through AT Skog enjoyed an average price of 850 NOK (approx. €71.61) per cubic meter across all assortments.
