Stora Enso’s Wood Products division posts strong earnings growth despite slow market
Stora Enso’s Wood Products division reported higher sales and profits in the second quarter of 2025, driven by price increases and higher sales volumes. Sales rose 19.1% to EUR 494 million in Q2 from EUR 414 million a year earlier, supported by increased sawn wood deliveries and the acquisition of Junnikkala. Deliveries grew 11.5% to 1.148 million cubic meters. Adjusted EBIT climbed 56.7% to EUR 11 million from EUR 7 million, as higher prices and volumes offset rising raw material and fixed costs.
