Austrian sawmills maintain stable prices for spruce
Most Austrian sawmills are well stocked with spruce sawlogs. Nevertheless, demand remains lively in most regions, despite a recent drop in supply. An exception is Tyrol, where a slight decline in demand has been observed. Logs made available are quickly transported and taken over without delay. While prices in Tyrol have fallen slightly, they remained stable in Lower Austria, Salzburg, and Styria. In contrast, Burgenland, Carinthia, and Upper Austria saw slight price increases.
