Log inventories decline at Chinese ports due to falling imports and weak construction demand
According to the latest customs data, China imported a total of 24.146 million cubic meters of wood (logs and lumber) in the first five months of 2025, down 13.3% year-on-year—a sharp decrease of 3.709 million cubic meters.
