New Zealand radiata pine exports to Vietnam fuel global furniture supply chain shift

New Zealand has stepped up exports of radiata pine logs to Vietnam as part of a growing bilateral cooperation in the forestry sector, aiming to strengthen supply chains for the global wood furniture industry, officials said on Thursday. The agreement, announced by New Zealand’s Forestry and Trade Minister Todd McLachlan, is expected to boost trade flows and deepen industrial integration between the two countries.
