Raute plans temporary layoffs in Finland as order intake weakens
Finnish woodworking machinery manufacturer Raute said on Wednesday it will begin change negotiations that could lead to temporary layoffs of up to 90 days in its Wood Processing and Analyzers business units in Finland, as weaker demand weighs on new orders. The negotiations will affect around 400 employees across all Raute locations in Finland. Any layoffs would take place during the second half of 2025.
