Forest products spared in US-EU tariff dispute—for now
Following the US administration’s announcement to impose US tariffs of 25% on all aluminium and steel imports the EU launched a consultation in March on possible retaliatory tariffs. A very large range of US forest products were included in the initial list of products pencilled in for retaliatory EU tariffs.
