Derome inaugurates new sawing line
Swedish wood industry group Derome has inaugurated a new sawing line at its spruce sawmill in Halland, investing SEK 600 million (€52 million) in a project aimed at increasing output and raw material efficiency. The new equipment, described by the company as among the most advanced in the world, is part of a broader modernisation of the Derome sawmill site, located north of Varberg.
