EU eases EUDR rules, aims to cut admin burden by 30%
The European Commission has released a new package of documents aimed at simplifying the implementation of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and reducing the administrative burden on companies by an estimated 30%. On 15 April, the Commission published the fourth edition of its FAQs—now expanded to 80 pages—alongside an updated guidance document and a draft Delegated Act to amend Annex I of the regulation.
