EU launches anti-dumping probe into Brazilian softwood plywood imports
The European Commission has launched an anti-dumping investigation into softwood plywood imports from Brazil following a request from the Softwood Plywood Consortium (SPC), the Commission said on Thursday. The probe includes registering Brazilian plywood imports at EU borders, which could lead to retroactive duties if unfair pricing is confirmed. The investigation covers plywood made from coniferous wood species, classified under CN code 4412 39.
