This year, the situation in the timber industry will largely depend on the European Central Bank's (ECB) decisions on interest rates, as well as the reaction and ability of society and companies to adapt to the new circumstances, said Andris Ramoliņš, owner and chairman of the board of the timber industry and forestry company SIA "Stiga RM".
