The Polish timber industry, represented by companies and organizations within the Coalition for Polish Wood, has sent an urgent appeal to Prime Minister Donald Tusk, urging immediate action to address the crisis threatening a vital sector of the Polish economy. According to the Coalition, the timber industry plays a significant role in Poland's economy, contributing 8.5% of GDP in 2022.
