In a recent extraordinary session, the board of directors of Maderas Arauco S.A. approved plans to establish and operate an oriented strand board (OSB) manufacturing line within the Trupán Complex. This initiative will involve the modernization, updating, and/or renovation of certain parts of the MDF line, utilizing existing facilities and incorporating or adapting equipment and processes to produce OSB. The estimated investment for this project is USD 92 million.
