Swedish sawn timber prices remain broadly stable in March 2023
In March 2023, Swedish sawn timber export prices remained relatively stable compared to the previous month: +0.5%. They remain below March 2022 with -29.9%. They are above their levels of January 2020 (+32.7%) but below those of March 2021 (-2.4%).Compared to March 2022, pine prices decreased -0.6% and spruce prices increased by +1%. Domestic market prices increased by +0.2% and are -26.8% lower than the previous year's prices.
