Swedish sawn timber prices start to rise again
In January 2023, Swedish sawn timber export prices rose slightly compared to the previous month: +0.4% (linked to the rise in quotations on the American market), but still remained below January 2022 with -26.2%. They are above their levels of January 2020 (+34.5%) and January 2021 (+9%). Compared to December 2022, the prices of red wood increased by +1.2% and those of white wood remained stable.
