Germany, Sweden boost softwood lumber exports to the US
In February 2022, Sweden’s exports of softwood lumber to the U.S. jumped tenfold year-on-year to 107.7 thousand m3. The value of exports soared 1120% to $57.1 million. Average price of softwood lumber increased 12.1% to $529.9 per m3. Germany’s exports of softwood lumber to the U.S. increased 82.1% year-on-year to 221.5 thousand m3, in February.
