Finnish domestic resources could easily replace Russian wood
Although the Ukrainian war has stopped importing wood from Russia, Finland can be relatively at ease. All the wood needed by the industry can be found in domestic forests, and it is normally available on the market by purchasing it, says Marko Mäki-Hakola, Forest Director at Finnish Central Union of Agricultural Producers and Forest Owners (MTK).
