Finnish softwood log prices up by almost 20% in May
In January-May, purchases of logs in Finland rose by 48 percent year-on-year, while prices for softwood logs increased by almost 20%. In January-May, the member companies of the Finnish Forest Industries Association bought 14.2 million cubic meters of wood from private forests.
