Sharp drop in Latvia’s wood products exports in Q1/2020
In January-March 2020, Latvia exported EUR 651.007 million worth of forestry products, which is a decrease of 9.2 percent against the previous year, according to information released by the Latvian Agriculture Ministry. Timber and timber products made up the bulk or 85.2 percent (87.4 percent a year ago) of total forestry product exports in January-March, accounting for EUR 554.738 million and declining 11.4 percent year-on-year.
