Chinese log market seriously impacted by the European bark beetle crisis
The price for an A grade log in the China log market has remained around USD 124 per JASm3. The demand for logs has already started to reduce in advance of the China Lunar New Year next month. The softwood log inventory has risen to approximately 4.4M m3.
