Vietnam takes benefit from the US/China trade war
In the first three months of 2019 Vietnam’s wood product exports were valued at around US$2.3 billion, some 16% higher than in the same period in 2018. The top export markets for wood products are traditionally the USA, EU, China, Japan and S.Korea. According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural development (MARD), the export growth rate is expected to rise once the EU/ Vietnam Free Trade Agreement enters into force.
