US lumber prices still on rising trend
Framing lumber trading in US was measured through mid-July, disappointing some who had expected a more active pace after the holiday. Instead, mill order files thinned, while secondaries worked down offerings on their lists. Retailers and end-users largely maintained a just-in-time approach, sensing no immediate tightening in the distribution system. Prices were flat to mixed across species.
