Recovery in EU softwood lumber deliveries to China this year
After a -32% drop in exports last year, European softwood lumber deliveries to China have recovered in the first quarter of the year. While Nordic exports continued the negative trend recorded in 2018, the German deliveries are responsible for the overall 7% in rise the overall EU exports. The European Union countries sent only 816 thousand m3 of softwood lumber to China, during the mentioned period, as compared to the 762 thousand m3 that they've sent in Q1/2018.
