Massive curtailments in BC push US softwood lumber prices up
Additional and significant curtailments announced in British Columbia jolted the framing lumber market out of a five-week losing streak. While dramatic price volatility was limited to Western S-P-F, the impact bled into other species, with mills firming quotes and raising prices moderately in late trading.
