Lumber prices in the US on decline at the end of May

Trading remained a grind, as sellers stepped up efforts to move prompt loadings while buyers limited purchases to must-have needs. Many traders anticipated the long holiday weekend, maintaining a cautious approach to see what develops next week.  Prices trended downward in most all framing lumber species, and the Random Lengths Framing Lumber Composite Price sank $10, to $335. Traders widely cited an imbalance in supply and demand, with many needs easily covered in local distribution or from secondaries working down their own inventories.      Week May 24 Week May ...
