Romania announces plans to ban the exports of logs
Romania's ruling Social Democrat Party (PSD) has announced the intention to file a bill to ban the export of logs from the country. The bill will be submitted next week and it's likely to pass as PSD has a large majority in the Parliament. The reason for this legislative proposal is to keep the value of wood in Romania, for processing purposes and to allow only exports of processed wood.
