Export data for Brazilian wood products show that over the past five years there has been a steady increase in export volumes driven mainly by exports of processed pine plantation timbers. Pine plywood exports were a record 2,272,067 cubic metres in 2018.  Brazil's exports of pine veneer rose to 165,582 cubic metres in 2018 from 103,013 cubic metres in 2017 and pine sawnwood exports were 12% higher in 2018 compared to a year earlier.  The Brazilian plantation sector is optimistic about the resumption of growth in the domestic and international markets ...
