Global pulp industry goes through prices decline
In the 2Q/18, global fiber prices indices dropped for the first time in five quarters, mainly because of the strengthening of the US dollar against other currencies. The 2Q/18 Global Softwood Fiber Price Index (SFPI) decreased slightly from the 1Q/18 but was still 7.8% higher than in the same quarter in 2017.
