US wood pellets production boosts during Q1/2018
Pellet production in the US amounted to 406,380 tonnes of pellets for the heating market and 1,431m tonnes of industrial pellets during January-March 2018. Also, the pellet production totaled 1.837m tonnes, according to surveys by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) at the U.S. Department of Energy. This represents a 12.1% increase of production of pellets for the heating market and a 4.9% growth for the production of industrial pellets.
