Wood-based products exports from Brazil overcome 2017’s levels
In March 2018, Brazilian exports of wood-based products (except pulp and paper) increased 19% in value compared to March 2017, from US$226.6 million to US$270.4 million. The value of pine sawnwood exports increased 13% between March 2017 (US$39.2 million) and March 2018 (US$44.3 million) while in terms of volume there was an almost 9% increase from 193,400 cu.m to 210,600 cu.m.
