US hardwood plywood imports declined by 5% in January to 202,536 cu.m. but the value of imports increased to US$143.9 million.  China’s share in US hardwood plywood imports was only 18% in January, down from 60% in January 2017 before the US imposed anti-dumping and countervailing duties.  Indonesia, Vietnam and Cambodia gained the most from the duties on Chinese plywood.
