Softwood lumber imports from UK to Europe not affected by Brexit
UK's softwood lumber imports from the European Union countries haven't been yet affected by Brexit, as shown in the results for full year 2017. During January-December 2017, the imports reached 5,484 million m3 of softwood lumber, from 5,469 million m3 in the same period of 2016. While Sweden's shipments to the UK grew by 14%, to 2,877 million m3 in the mentioned period, Latvia and Finland sent -6% and -5%, respectively, less softwood lumber.
