Wood pellets price in Germany decreases due to the warm season
The price for wood pellets in Germany has decreased accordingly to the arrival of the warm season. Thus, the price of EN plus wood pellets went down by -3.6% during April 2017, as compared to March, reaching EUR 246.08/tonne. As compared to the same period of 2016, the price is also 6.1% higher, while the price advantage over natural gas and heating oil is just under 15%, according to the survey of the German Energy Wood and Pellet Association (DEPV).
