The Trump lumber duty strategy and its impact on the global wood markets
This week the US Department of Commerce announced its preliminary conclusions on Canadian softwood lumber anti dumping duties. These duties will rise from 7,66% to 20,07% on top of which countervailing duties of 6,74% will be applied bringing the total amount of duties close to 30%.
