Hurricane Florence causes trouble for Louisiana-Pacific
Louisiana-Pacific (LP) announced that due to Hurricane Florence, its Wilmington, N.C. engineered wood operations have been temporarily shut down. The company’s Wilmington mill suffered damage in the storm. An LP response team has begun assessing the extent of the damage. LP has inventory at the mill that was not damaged and plans to continue servicing customers for the near term from inventory on hand at the Wilmington facility.
