Congestion at Douala Port frustrates timber shippers
Exporters continue to be frustrated over the congestion at Douala Port. Reports suggest up to 60,000 cu.m of logs destined for China are stuck in the port awaiting shipment. The situation is becoming worse with ships having to leave with only part cargos and in some cases sawnwood shut out from loading is being left quayside.
