Bergs Timber agrees buy Norvik’s timber operations in Baltics and UK
Bergs Timber signed an agreement with Bergs Timber’s main owner, Norvik, Norway, acquiring a number of companies within the Norvik Group with operations in Latvia, Estonia and the United Kingdom. The letter of intent concerning the acquisition was signed by Bergs Timber and Norvik on January 22, 2018. Since that time, Bergs Timber has conducted a review of the target companies and together with Norvik carefully evaluated the industrial logic behind the acquisition.
