Bark beetle logging doubled in Czech forests
In the first half of 2019, the number of bark beetle logged wood in the Czech State Forests more than doubled compared to the same period last year. The share of beetle-infested wood cuttings in Czech state forest Lesy ČR (LČR) in the 1H increased to a total of 2.87 million m3 (+112%) compared to the same period in 2018 (1.35 million m3).
