Austrian wood pellets prices well below last year’s levels
The July 2014 price survey conducted by proPellets Austria resulted in an average price of €24,24 Cent per kg of wood pellets (for 6 tonnes purchases). As compared to the previous month wood pellets are slightly more expensive (+0.3%), meanwhile as compared to July 2013, the price is lower by -3.9%. In June, wood pellets in bags cost an average of €4,00 per 15 kg sack (when ordered by the pallet). This represents a -1.8% decrease over June 2013, and -0.2% as compared to June 2014 ...
