Austria: wood pellets price up by 5% in January
The average price of wood pellets in Austria has reached 241 € per tonne of wood pellets or 4.92 Cent per kWh in January 2018. The price increased by 4.8%, as compared to the same period last year and by 2.6% as compared to December 2017. The cost advantage for wood pellets in Austria is currently 52.4% for extra light heating oil and 62.9% for natural gas.
