Brazil faces potential 25% U.S. tariffs under Section 301 ruling
The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) has proposed an additional 25% tariff on imports from Brazil following a Section 301 investigation that concluded several Brazilian policies and practices are unreasonable or discriminatory and burden U.S. commerce.
