The year 2021 was a year of unexpected extremes for the Czech sawmills. Especially in the prices and sales of lumber, whose prices in the spring and early summer due to high interest in it deviated from standard movements and began to rise sharply, and subsequently with them the prices of logs.  From mid-July, interest in lumber and with it its prices fell slightly until the end of the year, which traditionally reduced the activity of Czech sawmills with the approaching Christmas holidays. The reduction in sawmill output in the last months of last year ...
