Lumber prices in the US were stable during last week
The demand for framing lumber in the US remained steady to active during last week, even if traders usually experience seasonal slowdown during this period. The lower duty levels announced Thursday on Canadian exports to the U.S. sent the futures market plummeting through the day. But the announcement had little if any impact on the cash market.
