Bergs Timber to upgrade Vimmerby sawmill
Bergs Timber has recently announced it will invest SEK 27.5mn in reconstructing the sawline at the sawmill in Vimmerby. The Swedish sawmill company has bought all the assets of the sawmill from Swedish wood industry group Setra. Machinery from the recently disused sawmill in Myresjö will be utilized in the reconstruction. Setra and Bergs Timber reached an agreement over the acquisition of the Vimmerby sawmill back in 2016.
