US Softwood lumber price lowers 15% since last year
Sales of framing lumber picked up overall, but downside pressure on prices intensified in a few regions, namely the Inland West and South. A few curtailments in Western Canada drew attention, and contributed to a mildly firmer tone in the S-P-F market. But the downward price trend was unabated and grew steeper in Southern Pine.
