CMPC is investing US$92.6 million in two wood operations in Chile’s Biobío region, allocating most of the spending to further processing while expanding lumber capacity at its Mulchén sawmill. The projects cover the Los Ángeles remanufacturing plant and Mulchén, which supplies dried, planed and structural lumber to construction and other markets.
